 Congratulations to Islamic Relief USA volunteer Zarak Mir, who recently completed his tenure as a Hurbert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program at the Evans School in Washington state. During a ceremony, he was also awarded the President's Silver Award for Service, presented from Islamic Relief USA, in recognition of his dedication, hard work and success as an IRUSA volunteer. The photographs offer insights into conditions in East Africa during the worst drought to hit the region in 60 years. This presentation took place in Washington, DC, at Yola Parfait Bar.
 
 So many wonderful volunteers were on hand to help distribute hundreds of packages and meals to Day of Dignity attendees in Houston on July 6.  Islamic Relief USA's Disaster Assistance Response Team has been working hard to provide services to survivors of the Colorado wildfires as they've returned to their homes.
