Islamic Relief USA meets all of the Standards for Charity Accountability of the BBB Wise Giving Alliance, which is a national charity monitoring organization affiliated with the Better Business Bureau system. The Alliance and its predecessor organizations have over a century of combined experience in charity evaluation.
CFC # 10194: Islamic Relief USA is on the U.S. government’s Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) charity list, which means that federal employees can choose to contribute to IRUSA funds through automatic payroll deductions.
Islamic Relief USA is a signatory to the code of conduct for the International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent (IFRC). The code was developed and agreed upon by eight of the world’s largest disaster response agencies in the summer of 1994. As a signatory, IRUSA commits itself publicly to the code and pledges to abide by its principles.

InsideNGO: Islamic Relief USA is a member of InsideNGO, which is dedicated to strengthening the operational and management capacities of organizations in the global NGO community through effective collaborations, practical solutions, professional development, and advocacy.

National Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster: Islamic Relief USA is a member of National VOAD, which serves as a voice for nonprofit organizations and volunteers that work in all phases of diaster. It is the primary point of contact for voluntary organization in the National Response Coordination Center (at FEMA headquarters) and is a signatory to the National Response Plan.
